महात्मा ज्योतिबा फुले रुहेलखण्ड विश्वविद्यालय (अंग्रेजी: M. J. P. Rohilkhand University) की स्थापना 1975 में एक सम्बद्ध विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में की गयी थी। यह NAAC A++ मान्यता प्राप्त है, आईएसओ 9001:2015 और 14001:2015 प्रमाणित विश्वविद्यालय है। लगभग दो सौ छ्ह एकड में बना यह आवासीय विश्वविद्यालय बरेली शहर से थोडा हटकर बरेली-पीलीभीत मार्ग पर स्थित है। इस विश्वविद्यालय से सम्बद्ध महाविद्यालय पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के नौ जिलों में फैले हुए हैं, जिनका क्षेत्रफल 31,287 वर्ग किलोमीटर है तथा जिनकी जनसंख्या तीस मिलियन से अधिक है (2011 की जनगणना के अनुसार 2,74,35,583)[1] (बरेली, बदायूं, पीलीभीत, शाहजहांपुर, मुरादाबाद, संभल, रामपुर, बिजनौर, अमरोहा)के 500+ महाविद्यालय संबद्धित हैं।
